A Death Grip Disciple

Don't ever let go of fulfillment...

I’m Kui Kapu, and today I’m excited to share with you the story behind why I created a community we call the Death Grip Disciples.

Who Are the Death Grip Disciples?

Death Grip Disciples are people who live with resilience and determination, individuals who never let go of their goals, just like a fierce grip in Jiu-Jitsu. This community is more than just a gathering of martial arts enthusiasts; it’s a group of people who understand the value of perseverance and personal growth, both on and off the mat.

What Does It Mean to Be a Disciple?

The name ‘Death Grip’ says it all. It represents our refusal to loosen our hold on our purpose, no matter what challenges come our way. Our journey reflects the principles of Jiu-Jitsu: staying grounded, embracing each challenge, and ultimately finding strength in community and technique. As a Death Grip Disciple, you’re part of a group that lifts each other up, shares knowledge, and relentlessly pursues self-improvement.

Why Did I Create This Community?

Combat Citadel was born out of my desire to offer more than techniques or training; I wanted to empower people to tell their stories and leave a legacy. The Death Grip Disciples are a direct reflection of that vision. This community exists to give each of you the support, content, and actionable tools you need to build your own brand, share your story, and make a lasting impact. Together, we are building a purpose-driven life centered on strength, resilience, and authenticity.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. The Citadel Podcast, our training sessions, and every piece of content we create are here to serve you. Let’s continue to grow, learn, and inspire each other as true Death Grip Disciples.

Gratefully,

Kui Kapu
